Introducing the KABUTO Trigger Usage Reset Device!
This is a 3 position, drop in trigger reset device. The 3 positions are: Safe, Semi-Auto, and Forced Reset.
Current lead time for nylon selectors: ~1 week
The Metal Selector and Metal Selector Kits have a lead time of ~2-3 weeks.
Includes:
- Reset device chassis printed in PA6-GF, fully assembled
- Nylon Selector: 2x 3 Position safety selectors printed in PA6-GF. One Ambi selector and one standard selector. 4x Nylon timing plungers and a stainless steel timing lever.
- Metal Selector/Metal Selector Kit: Stainless steel 3 position selector. All metal selectors are Ambi! Metal timing plunger and timing lever!
- TPU Buffer spacer to help with function and rate of trigger reset (for the AR9 variant)
This device functions similarly to the Hoffman Tactical Super Safety but does NOT require any trigger cut and utilizes a standard AR safety switch.
You will need a full-auto spec BCG! I recommend this one, but any that is full-auto spec will work. The device will not function with a semi spec BCG.
You will also need an AR15 cut lower (not M16 cut).
For the AR-15 variant, recommend at least an H2 buffer, more than likely an H3 will be needed.
For the AR9 variant, we recommend a heavier (7+oz) PCC buffer weight to increase dwell-time and mitigate bolt bounce.
The included safety still functions as a normal safety if the drop in device is removed so there is no need for disassembly after the selector is installed.
We now have 3 variations for some popular trigger brands:
- MilSpec triggers
- Geissele SSA/SSA-E triggers
- Larue MBT-2S triggers
A few disclaimers:
- The finish of each may vary slightly. I assemble, sand, and finish each device by hand which leads to variations in looks but all will function properly. Every unit is dry fire tested before shipping.
- Similar to other shops selling the Super Safety, this is not my design. I made a few minor changes to allow proper function with the stainless steel parts. All credit for this build goes to the original designer: Kabuto.
- This is a SEMIAUTOMATIC reset device. One round is fired per trigger pull. This does NOT allow fully automatic fire.
