Introducing the KABUTO Trigger Usage Reset Device!
This is a 3 position, drop in trigger reset device. The 3 positions are: Safe, Semi-Auto, and Forced Reset, The reset cam and lever are laser cut from stainless steel to ensure longevity.
Current lead time for plastic selectors: ~2 weeks
The Metal Selector and Metal Selector Kits are PRE ORDER. Updates will be sent out as we get them.
PRE ORDER will run for 1 month, ending on Saturday, January 17th, 2026. Once closed, production will begin with the metal selectors and they will ship in the order they were placed in. Following the pre order, we will try to get a larger supply of selectors on hand to ship orders out quicker. Updates on that will come as we get closer to the first pre order window closing.
Includes:
- Reset device chassis printed in PA6-GF, fully assembled with the stainless steel lever and 4x nylon plungers (only nylon for now)
- Plastic Selector: 2x 3 Position safety selectors printed in PA6-GF. One Ambi selector and one standard selector
- Metal Selector/Metal Selector Kit: Stainless steel 3 position selector. All metal selectors are Ambi!
This device functions similarly to the Hoffman Tactical Super Safety but does NOT require any trigger cut and utilizes a standard AR safety switch.
You will need a full-auto spec BCG! I recommend the toolcraft line that PSA sells, but any that is full-auto spec will work. The device will not function with a semi spec BCG.

This device is confirmed to work with Milspec triggers. We are in the final stages of a Larue compatible version. Next will be testing with Geissele triggers.
The included safety still functions as a normal safety if the drop in device is removed so there is no need for disassembly after the selector is installed.
A few disclaimers:
- The finish of each may vary slightly. I assemble, sand, and finish each device by hand which leads to variations in looks but all will function properly. Every unit is dry fire tested before shipping.
- Similar to other shops selling the Super Safety, this is not my design. I made a few minor changes to allow proper function with the stainless steel parts. All credit for this build goes to the original designer: Kabuto.
- This is a SEMIAUTOMATIC reset device. One round is fired per trigger pull. This does NOT allow fully automatic fire.
